Like Mr. Shrager, Eric has distinguished himself through his determination to help others in his legal work. He has led groundbreaking and high-profile proceedings to secure favorable results for his clients, earning praise from the bench for his knowledge, efficiency, and professionalism.

Eric has garnered widespread acclaim for his professional accomplishments, including being ranked in Chambers at a nationwide level for Product Liability, receiving the 2022 Lawyer of the Year Award from Best Lawyers for mass tort/class action litigation, the 2019 California Lawyer Attorney of the Year (CLAY) Award, and the 2018 Law360 Cybersecurity & Privacy MVP recognition.

“I was stunned and thankful when Lori Andrus told me. I’m proud to be recognized among the list of past recipients who’ve done so much for the AAJ, our clients, and our practice,” said Eric. “I wish I could have met David, and I hope to advance his vision by continuing to contribute to AAJ’s growth and mission through my work with law schools and law students for many years to come.”

Eric’s leadership in the AAJ includes his service on AAJ’s Board of Governors and Law School Committee, and his firm’s participation in Evergreen. Eric also helped form the Class Action Litigation Group (now Class Action Section) and the Data and Privacy Litigation Group, both of which he co-chaired. Eric recruited many new members in connection with the Class Action Litigation Group. and has renewed that effort in connection with the Law School Committee, where he is committed to introducing law students to AAJ and the plaintiffs’ bar.
