Gibbs Law Group, a California‐based, national law firm committed to protecting the rights of consumers, employees, investors and whistleblowers harmed by corporate misconduct, is pleased to announce its Diversity Fellowship. We are seeking outstanding, diverse 1Ls and 2Ls interested in a career representing plaintiffs for this highly‐selective, paid summer fellowship.
Fellowship recipients will receive:
- A ten‐week paid summer position;
- Travel and living accommodations; and
- An award of up to $10,000 to assist with law school tuition.

Litigation Assistant

Looking for law firm experience before grad or law school? You may be the perfect candidate for a litigation assistant position at Gibbs Law Group LLP. We welcome recent graduates as well as candidates changing career tracks to enter the legal field.
Our firm represents individuals in high-stakes (and often high-profile) class action and personal injury litigation. We bring cases against the country’s largest corporations—including utility companies, banks, and automobile manufacturers.
We offer a fast-paced and team-oriented atmosphere, where you will have an opportunity to meaningfully contribute and learn more about the legal profession. You will interview potential clients, perform case investigations, help with gathering and organizing information and documents for cases, do a lot of communication over the phone and more.
We are looking for individuals who enjoy being challenged and who take pride in their work. Successful litigation assistants at Gibbs Law Group have come from a variety of previous work and study experiences, including: academic research, bartending, call center work, journalism, and sales.
You’ll Need to Have:
- A commitment to the work we do
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Good etiquette and comfort speaking on the phone
- A bachelor’s degree
Proficiency in another language is a plus.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary range $23-26 per hour based on experience, plus benefits and discretionary bonus. GLG offers an excellent benefits package, including generous vacation and leave policies, fully employer‐paid employee health benefits and an employer-contributed 401(k) plan.
GLG staff currently work primarily remotely; however, staff should be prepared and available to provide in-person services as needed.

The base compensation range for this role is $150,000-$200,000 annually depending on experience, plus discretionary bonuses and benefits.
