Gibbs Mura Partner Andre Mura will speak at the Fifth Annual Shades of Mass Conference in Washington, D.C., on October 10, for “Mass Tort Case Updates (Part 2): Social Media Addiction, Depo-Provera, Talc, GLP 1-RA/Ozempic, CA Wildfires, and Video Game Addiction/Roblox Litigations.” Andre will be joining fellow panelists Ava Cavaco of Lockridge Grindal Nauen and Danielle Mason of Singleton Schreiber.
The session is scheduled for 3:55 to 5:10 p.m. in Regency Ballroom A at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill. Panelists will discuss developments across pharmaceutical, product liability, and technology mass torts including recent developments in the social media addiction, Depo-Provera, talc, GLP-1, California wildfire and video game addiction/Roblox litigations.

Andre M. Mura represents plaintiffs in class actions and mass torts and currently serves on the court-appointed Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee in In re: Social Media Adolescent Addiction/Personal Injury Products Liability Litigation, where he handles legal briefing and discovery matters related to the TikTok defendants. He has held leadership roles in several other MDLs, including the 3M Combat Arms Earplug, Meta Pixel Healthcare Data, and Taxotere litigations, and he’s a two-time California Lawyer Attorney of the Year honoree.
