Eric Gibbs to share insights on Lumber Liquidators litigation

At the conference, Mr. Gibbs will share insights on the Lumber Liquidators litigation and legal remedies for consumers who purchased and installed flooring allegedly containing toxic levels of formaldehyde. Gibbs Law Group LLP has filed three federal class action lawsuits against Lumber Liquidators alleging that the company made false representations to its consumers about the safety of its Chinese-made laminate wood flooring, which may emit formaldehyde levels that exceed those permitted by the California Air Resources Board (CARB).

Mr. Gibbs will further delve into the details and status of the case as a presenter at the HB Litigation Conferences’ Lumber Liquidators Litigation Conference on June 30 in San Francisco.

Amy Zeman to discuss effects of MIR 162 on U.S. Corn Farmers

Gibbs Law Group partner Amy Zeman will also attend Mass Tort Med School as a featured speaker to discuss her work on the In re: Syngenta AG MIR 162 Corn Litigation. Ms. Zeman is currently speaking with U.S. corn farmers and investigating claims about the effects of Syngenta’s GMO corn seed on U.S. corn export prices, including whether legal action can be taken to compensate farmers who lost profits. Lawsuits filed on behalf of corn farmers in various states have been consolidated into a multidistrict litigation (MDL), currently pending before Judge John W. Lungstrum in Kansas.
