Gibbs Mura, A Law Group and Ohio Litigators Mark Troutman and Shawn Judge Announce Transition

Gibbs Mura, A Law Group, Mark Troutman, and Shawn Judge announced the two Ohio Litigators will depart the firm after five successful years together. Mark and Shawn will be forming a new firm, Troutman & Judge LLC, to represent Ohioans and consumers nationwide, and to further Shawn’s mediation and special master practice.

During their time with Gibbs Mura, Mark and Shawn worked on a variety of cases within and outside of Ohio, including:

• Representing the State of Ohio against some of the country’s largest pharmaceutical companies, alleging misrepresentation and deceptive marketing that resulted in the nation’s opioid crisis;
• Serving as co-lead counsel in class actions on behalf of Ohioans alleging underpayment of oil and gas royalties;
• Representing bank customers nationwide who were charged unfair overdraft and NSF account fees, helping to recover tens of millions of dollars on their behalf; 
• Representing investors against Cardinal Health in resolving what is believed to be the largest settlement in Ohio’s history in a shareholder derivative action against Cardinal Health based upon its opioid distribution.
