October 21, 2026
On October 16, Gibbs Mura joined attorneys, judges, law students, and community members at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco for the San Francisco La Raza Lawyers Association’s (SFLRLA) 2026 Noche de Gala. Gibbs Mura was proud to support this year’s event as a sponsor, and partner Rosemary Rivas also sponsored the gala individually.
The evening opened with a welcome reception, followed by dinner and a program honoring Latino attorneys, judges, and allies in the Bay Area legal community. Honorees included:
- Arturo J. González (Cruz Reynoso Award)
- Leo Martinez (Pillar of the Profession Award)
- The Honorable Renee C. Reyna (Judge of the Year)
- Franco Muzzio (Attorney of the Year)
Noche de Gala is SFLRLA’s annual dinner, and funds raised support the scholarships and programs the association and its nonprofit arm, the Bay Area Latino Lawyers Fund, offer throughout the year. Those programs create educational and professional opportunities for lawyers, law students, and legal professionals from underrepresented backgrounds.
Expanding Access to the Legal Profession
Supporting SFLRLA is part of Gibbs Mura’s broader commitment to expanding access to the legal profession. In 2025, founding partner Eric Gibbs and Singleton Schreiber managing partner Danielle Ward Mason co-founded the Mason Gibbs Plaintiffs’ Pathway Fellowship to help law students build careers in plaintiff-side law.
Congratulations to this year’s honorees, and thank you to SFLRLA for a wonderful evening.
