Gibbs Mura Partner Rosemary Rivas will join judges and attorneys from across the region at the Western Legal Forum for a series of discussions on the state of the legal profession.

Hosted by San Francisco La Raza Lawyers and the Bay Area Latino Lawyers Fund, the Western Legal Forum brings together judges, attorneys, and legal leaders to discuss key issues shaping the legal profession. The program will open with a conversation featuring Chief Justice Patricia Guerrero, Chief Judge Mary H. Murguia, and Chief District Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers, followed by 30-minute discussions with leading regional attorneys, including Rosemary.
About Rosemary Rivas
Rosemary Rivas is a Partner at Gibbs Mura who represents consumers in complex class actions involving false advertising, defective products, and privacy violations, helping recover billions of dollars for clients. She served on the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee in the Volkswagen Clean Diesel Litigation, which resulted in a settlement of more than $14 billion and earned her the 2018 California Lawyer Attorney of the Year Award.
Rosemary has been named a Northern California Super Lawyer every year since 2019 and is recognized among Lawdragon’s 2025–2026 Leading Plaintiff Financial Lawyers. She also serves as a Lawyer Representative for the Northern District of California and the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference. A fluent Spanish speaker, Rosemary frequently speaks on consumer protection and class action litigation at legal and industry conferences.
