Gibbs Mura Partner Steve Lopez joined judges and attorneys from across California at the inaugural NorCal Complex Litigation Symposium, where he moderated a panel on mediation in complex cases.

Hosted by the Alameda County Bar Association and presented by Kazan McClain Satterley & Greenwood, the NorCal Complex Litigation Symposium brought together judges from California’s complex civil courts and practitioners from across the state for a day of discussion on mass torts, class action management, mediation, and complex trial strategy.

Steve moderated “A Neutral’s Perspective on Complex Litigation,” guiding a conversation with Judge David Cunningham (Ret.) of JAMS, Judge Anne-Christine Massullo (Ret.) of Signature Resolution, Judge Evelio Grillo (Ret.) of ADR Services, and Judge Barbara Kronlund (Ret.) of Judicate West on how timing, preparation, and communication shape successful mediation. Steve also served on the symposium’s planning committee.
