About Steve Lopez

For years, Steve has co-led large teams of lawyers and paralegals representing thousands of renters, homeowners and business owners affected by devastating California wildfires. He’s a vital member of the team that helped secure over $1.5 billion from PG&E, on behalf of survivors of the Camp, Tubbs, and North Bay Fires. He currently represents survivors of the Eaton Fire in Los Angeles.
In addition to representing wildfire victims, he represents consumers, employees and whistleblowers in complex class actions, mass torts, and mass arbitrations. In 2025, he was again selected to Lawdragon’s list for 500 X – The Next Generation, which highlights promising young attorneys who’ve already handled matters with “significant impact” as future leaders of the legal profession.
