The webinar will be hosted by Bridgeport Continuing Education, the largest California-based commercial provider of continuing legal education. Bridgeport’s conferences, seminars and webinars focus on emerging legal issues of vital import to attorneys, legal experts, consultants and government enforcement agencies.  

The webinar will focus on key aspects of the Viking River decision, implications for California practitioners currently handling PAGA cases, and what to plan for in the future, including potential reactions by the California legislature. Faculty panelists include Gibbs Law Group partner, Amanda Karl, and other established litigators including Timothy J. Long of Greenberg Traurig, LLP, Christina Humphrey, of Christina Humphrey Law, P.C. and Michael Morrison of Alexander Morrison + Fehr. 

About Amanda Karl

Amanda prosecutes a wide range of complex cases, including in the areas of employment law, sexual assault, and consumer protection, within a variety of industries.  She is deeply committed to fighting voter suppression and spearheads Gibbs Law Group’s Voting Rights Task Force. Amanda is active in the community, currently serving on the Board of East Bay Community Law Center, and has been honored as a Rising Star by Northern California Super Lawyers every year since 2018.  Prior to joining Gibbs Law Group, Amanda served as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard A.
