Jeff Kosbie attends State Bar of California’s Summit on Diversity 2020

September 11, 2020

Gibbs Law Group attorney Jeff Kosbie attended the State Bar of California’s 3rd Annual Summit on Diversity in the Legal Profession on September 11, 2020. Jeff attended in his capacity as Co-chair of Bay Area Lawyers for Individual Freedom (BALIF), the nation’s oldest and largest association of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBTQI) persons in the field of law. He has published multiple articles in law reviews related to the history of LGBTQ rights.

In order to further promote diverse attorneys, the State Bar of California recently released its first Report Card on the Diversity of California’s Legal Profession. As the report says:

Having a diverse legal profession positively impacts the administration of justice, ensures fairness, and promotes the rule of law. The mandate to promote a diverse and inclusive legal profession is central to the State Bar’s mission of public protection.

Here at Gibbs Law Group, we celebrate our individual staff and attorneys who work to promote diversity and inclusion, and we also join these efforts collectively as a law firm:
