Kyla Gibboney appointed to Antitrust and Unfair Competition Law Section Leadership in CLA

Gibbs Law Group is pleased to announce Kyla Gibboney has been appointed by the California Lawyers Association (CLA) to the Executive Committee of the Antitrust and Unfair Competition Law Section. The Section provides opportunities to develop the next generation of California antitrust and unfair competition law practitioners. Through its committees, mentoring programs, and diversity and inclusion initiatives, the Section engages a wide range of perspectives and views, and seeks to develop, support, and highlight diverse thought leaders in the antitrust and UCL fields.

Kyla’s antitrust work has spanned industries and covered all phases of the case lifecycle. She has also spent the past several years litigating unfair competition claims against some of the largest technology companies and has represented consumers in litigation involving point-of-sale loans, the auto industry, and consumer insurance products. When she’s not being a fearless advocate for consumers, Kyla helps mentor younger lawyers interested in careers in antitrust, consumer protection and plaintiff-side litigation more broadly. Kyla has been selected to Super Lawyer’s Rising Star list every year since 2018, and she was honored in 2023 with a California Lawyer of the Year Award.
