Roblox Illegal Child Gambling Lawsuit 

Our attorneys and co-counsel are pursuing a class action lawsuit against Roblox—one of the world’s most popular gaming sites for children—for ensnaring children in illegal gambling using Roblox’s proprietary virtual currency, Robux.

 

The lawsuit alleges that Roblox knew that illegal casino websites were preying on children using Roblox’s platform and currency, but that the company facilitated and profited from Robux gambling instead of warning its child users and their parents about this danger of its platform. The lawsuit alleges that many children and families have been impacted by Roblox’s negligence and unfair business practices. 

Since the lawsuit was filed in summer 2023, Gibbs Mura has helped defeat multiple attempts by Roblox and the illegal casino websites to dismiss the case or compel it to arbitration.
