Eric Gibbs to Participate in Consumer Class Action Attorneys Panel at U.C. Hastings

Gibbs Law Group partner Eric H. Gibbs will participate in an upcoming Consumer Class Action Attorneys Panel hosted by the U.C. Hastings Trial Law Association on November 14, 2012, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Snodgrass Hall.  The program will offer law students a chance to discuss careers in consumer protection litigation, as well as an opportunity to learn more about class action law and recent Supreme Court decisions impacting this practice area.  Individuals that plan on attending the program are encouraged to bring questions, as Mr. Gibbs will join in a Q&A session as part of the program.

Mr. Gibbs is a frequent speaker on consumer protection and class action related issues.  His skill in the prosecution of large-scale class and collective actions includes cases involving defective products, telecommunications, credit cards, unfair competition, false advertising, truth-in-lending, product liability, credit repair, employment misclassification, and wage and hour, under both state and federal law.  Most recently, he was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® 2012-2013, and honored as a Northern California Super Lawyer (2010-2012) (top 100 in Northern California).  He also earned an AV-Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, recognizing him in the highest class for professional ethics and legal skills.
