Federal regulators have called for overdraft fees to be waived during the pandemic, but it hasn’t happened yet. Instead, overdraft fees earned by big banks like BNB have skyrocketed from $11 billion in 2019 to a record $30 billion in 2020.
Our law firm is pursuing an overdraft fees lawsuit investigation against BNB Bank. We’re concerned about the following fees:
- Overdraft fees
- Insufficient funds (NSF) fees
- Intrabank transaction fees
- Foreign transaction fees
If you’ve incurred any of these fees, they may have been illegal. Contact us with the form below to learn more.
BNB Bank Overdraft and NSF Fees
BNB Bank, headquartered in Bridgehampton, NY, charges a $35 fee if you have non-sufficient funds (NSF) for a check or ACH payment. BNB may also charge fees for overdrafts caused by ATM withdrawals and debit transactions, according to their Terms and Conditions.
In addition, BNB offers an overdraft line of credit to some customers who qualify, but it is an unsecured line of credit at a fixed interest rate.
